Why in Olympics equal opportunity is not given to a lefty and a righty in circular track running events?
In summer olympics the running events in circular track starts in anti-clock wise direction looking from the top. But for a lefty to run in a curved path it is convinient to run clockwise rather than anti-clockwise, which is convinient for a righty So why this is acceptable in an event like Olympics?

I'll be honest with you man. Its all a great big conspiracy, designed for all us righties to put lefties in their place. They are evil. Pure and simple.

Because running is not a lefty or righty sport. I would like to see your sources that lefty runner prefer and are more adept at running clockwise on a track. And number 2, these are elite athletes and the direction of the running is not an issue and doesn't affect them. I don't even understand where you made this up? Are you smoking some cheeba?

Answer 2
I was unaware that what hand you used caused you to run differently. Don't lefties still run one foot in front of the other? There is no logic to this question, and the point you are trying to make is meritless.

Answer 3
All circular track events are run like this and this is how the athletes train so everyone is equal. I always thought that left handed athletes used their legs for running and the only event that I can envisage the lefties being at a disadvantage is the kiddies wheelbarrow race.

A better question to ask would be why the International Federation governs Track this way. It is not that the Olympics or IOC do not give equal opportunity. If you are suggesting people should have an opportunity to run in the direction that they want, that would not work. In Mass Start events, like the 1600M, people need to run together with their competitors. It's part of the competition to run along side & people draft or run faster based on their competition. In Time Trials, the runners must have an equal playing field, all dealing with the same wind & surface. You will even see a notation near World Records if the wind was too intense. Also one could argue the stronger leg is on the inside & the left leg works harder. In Sprinting, sprinters have a choice of whether or not to put their left or right leg back.
