What do you keep your thermostat set at during the summer & winter?
In the summer we have the thermostat set at 77 degrees and my husband in constantly complaining that it is too cold, he insists that we need to set it at 78 degrees. What it boils down to is that he is CHEAP! He would rather sit here and be hot to save on the power bill. In the winter we have to keep it at 71 degrees. I am just curious what every one else keeps their thermostat set at?

67 to 72 in the winter I admit that I have turned it up to 74 before--unfortunately we do not have central air--so we just turn the window air conditioners on whatever- they don't have temperatures just high medium and low--Right now nothing is on because we haven't hooked our air conditioners up for the summer yet and it is hot hot hot 83 degrees. I can't do it by myself because it is big and heavy and I need someone to help with the window--they are old and won't stay up etc...--hopefully some one will do it tomorrow while i am gone or I will do it monday, jeez.
